• Nice to see the busy bodies are still getting their misinformed feathers ruffled. Surely they should drive their Toyota Prius to the makers of cheap vodka or even Buckfast, since that seems to be the fuel for nights of generally twattery, and raise their grievances with them. Ive never had abuse from someone drinking BrewDog beers, other than friendly banter, but then these people would need friends to know what that is like. Congratulations on the news about the planning permission guys, I hope to invest in the new year. Here is to a long and successful run for BrewDog.

• John Galvin- I have been trying to decide if your post was tongue-in-cheek. If it was, I apologise for missing the joke! If not... Your assertion that a BrewDog high alcohol beer is contributing to appalling problems is flawed. These problems were there long before BrewDog came along and are a result of many different problems in society. If you are unable to grasp this and are still looking to point the finger at a particular type of drink as a cause, look at CHEAP, mainstream, moderately alcoholic drinks. These are far more likely to be the alcoholic yob beverage of choice. If you believe that strong drinks are the problem then presumably you will be posting similar faux-outraged comments on the websites of spirit & liqueur producers- these drinks have a higher ABV than beer and must therefore be even more evil... Also, Where is the hypocrisy? I fail to see the links between striving for carbon neutrality and producing a niche high-strength beer for a small number of discerning consumers. Great news on the planning permission, guys. Congratulations!

• Do you realy think all teenagers are going to rush to pay £30 for a bottle of beer or go to Asda Tescos for a entire night out for £3. Dont blame niche brewerys or even pubs, the UKs large alcohol problems stem from cheap cut price drink from companys protected by paying massive amounts of tax the goverment. Tax dollars they simply can not do with out.
