The best Job in the Wold...
So by now you'll have noticed a pattern ; whenever James is state side with his old buddy Mick, spreading the BrewDog message in America, I get the chance to bring you up to date on all things from my corner of the kennel.
So sticking with the export theme, the breaking news is that the fair country of Norway now has it all - "from the diddle eyed Jo to the Damned if I know" - the most beautiful people alive, a solid economy, the freshest cleanest of environments and now the best God damn lager to boot. I had the pleasure of attending the On Trade launch of 77 Lager in Oslo over the weekend. It was about as Rock ‘n Roll an event as you're likely to find is Scandinavia, with the city's top bar tenders out in force to be among the first to imbibe the brew, before it became widely available on Monday morning. Held in the ripped out loft space of the International bar and club it was the perfect introduction to the brand and hosted with Viking like Gusto by our trade partners Cask Norway. If you have a spare couple of grand then get yourself over for the weekend (the money won't last you any longer but it will be worth it)
Le Donk
Staying with the Party vibe we are delighted to have been requested by Shane Meadows and Paddy Considine to supply the beer for their "Credit Crunch Film Premier and Party" - they wanted the ultimate Rock and Roll beer for their interpretation of the Rockumentary genre and we will dually be obliging (and attending of course)

"15 years ago a roadie named Donk seemed to have it all. Now his life is shit. So he decides to take UK rapper Scorz-ay-zee with him on a road trip that he hopes will change their lives forever. This low-budget rockumentary follows Le Donk and Scorz on their journey of a lifetime and includes appearances from amongst others, the Arctic Monkeys. LE DONK is an improvised comedy, shot over five days by Shane Meadows, devised with and starring Paddy Considine."

All Play and no work..?
...don't believe it for a second. Among the usual cut and thrust we have two major UK On Trade players coming on board in July to assist with distribution, but if I say anymore then our PR Angels will kill me for blowing the storey too soon. They keep telling me "timing is everything" - so look out in the big boy press for new ways to get your hands on our beers.

- Barry,
I am not sure about the legality of that suggestion. Maybe changing it to Barry Clark would achieve your desired same effect?
