We are excited to be showcasing the beers of Anchor Brewing Company and Firestone Walker this Thursday.  We’re bringing California to Camden with the CEO and President of Anchor Keith Greggor and Firestone Walker's co-founder David Walker coming over from America's West Coast to speak about their breweries and beers.

Anchor Brewing Company have been brewing since 1896, and so they have learnt a fair few interesting things along the way.  From their iconic and traditional steam beer to the game changing Liberty Ale, Anchor has consistently been pushing the envelope of the beer world.  Liberty Ale was one of the first hop-forward West Coast IPAs – showcasing the stunning, juicy and citrusy hop – Cascade.  It’s therefore pretty apt that they are known for being one of true pioneers of the Craft Beer Revolution.

We are also delighted to announce that we will be joined by David Walker. We recently showcased some great draft beers from this elusive brewery and this is your chance to meet one of the men behind them as well as sample the amazing Firestone Walker beers on tap. 

David Walker began brewing in 1996 and adopted the ‘Firestone Union’ technique, a modern spin on a traditional method of fermenting in a series of connected oak barrels, which imparts a unique character and complexity to the beer. Firestone Walker won Champion Brewery at the 2012 World Beer Cup for a record fourth time. An amazing record at the world's most prestigious beer competition.

Then, because we love you that much, for the first time ever, we’re going to be having live music downstairs in the Hop Bunker, so you can drink craft beer and throw some shapes. 

So get yourselves down to BrewDog Camden on 4^th October. The event starts from 7pm.
