Ballast Point Evening at BrewDog Aberdeen - Tuesday 15th November

On Tuesday 15th November, The BrewDog Bar Aberdeen will be graced with the presence of Yussef Cherney from Ballast Point Brewery. From 7pm Yussef will be talking us through 4 different beers from Ballast Point, Sculpin IPA, Big Eye IPA, Calico Amber Ale, and Black Marlin Porter. Yussef is the Head Brewer and Distiller from Ballast Point,.

Ballast Point Brewery began in San Diego in 1996, fuelled by a vision and a dream for making real good beer; their beginnings were in a home-brew Mart. In sourcing the best ingredients around and engaging in some serious beer debates with avid home-brewers, the small brewing company began to take shape.

Ballast Point Brewing Company have shone in recent World Beer Cups. In 2010 they tied in first place for the brewery to take the most Gold awards. In addition to this they won the World Champion Small Brewery at the 2010 World Beer Cup - the most prestigious award any brewery can receive.

Almost 15 years after its inception, Ballast Point Brewing’s dedicated team of craftsmen (and women) is still innovating, trying new methods and ingredients, and working constantly to increase capacity to try to meet demand. More than anything, they are staying true to their dream, and their own: Real beer lovers making real good beer.

Yussef is spending the day at our brewery, working on a Collaborative Brew voted on by you, our loyal pups in our October Blog - http://www.brewdog.com/blog-article/ballast-point-beer-dinner-at-musa
