BrewDog Graduate Scheme

BrewDog Graduate Scheme

This summer we are once again on the hunt for two extraordinary candidates to join BrewDog as part of our 2014 BrewDog graduate scheme! This is no ordinary graduate program; we’re looking for two pioneers who are driven, adaptable and bring a unique set of skills, to join our team as protégés to James and Martin. This means the successful candidates will need to keep up with our two co-founders as they steer the good ship BrewDog towards new craft beer horizons.

Our graduate scheme is not for those who are interested in having their hands held as they are guided through a set, two year program of fixed blocks in different areas of the business. If that’s what you’re looking for, look somewhere else.

Our graduate scheme has kickstarted the careers of four incredible BrewDog team members over the past two years, launching them into roles as diverse as Munitions and Propaganda (taking a nod to Rob Mackay (pictured above), who clambered aboard last year as our Marketing Assistant) and Production Engineer (Nick Zeigler (pictured below) joined us as part of the first grad scheme, and is a Senior Brewer working on our sustainability projects) through to Gatekeeper (Zarah Prior (also pictured below) joined as James' protégé and has worked her way up to take the helm of our people department).

To join us as part of the graduate program, you need to be a fairly recent graduate (say, you finished up your studies in the last year or three), have a burning desire to fill the world with only the best craft beers, and submit an application as per the details below.

Applications are due in by July 20th. Shortlisted candidates will be brought to Aberdeen for a mega group interview, where we’ll be putting you through your paces to determine who gets permission to board.

To apply to be James' protégé for a year, you need to:

Send an email to breweryjobs(@)brewdog(.)com with "Graduate Scheme - James" in the title and your CV attached.

We're also asking for a 5 slide PowerPoint or PDF presentation, with:

1) Your 3 favourite brands (not BrewDog) and why.
2) A new beer concept, name and launch plan.
3) An idea on how to further engage our Equity Punk investor community.
4) A great location for a future BrewDog bar. And why.
5) A random idea (from you) that will help us grow our business.

To apply to be Martin's protégé for a year, you need to:

Send an email to breweryjobs(@)brewdog(.)com with "Graduate Scheme - Martin" in the title and your CV attached.

We're also asking for a 5 slide PowerPoint or PDF presentation, with:

1) Your 3 favourite hops. And why.
2) 3 things to pair beer with.
3) A recipe for a new beer you think BrewDog is missing from its range.
4) An idea for a new Abstrakt beer.
5) A random idea (from you) that will help us grow our business.

The deadline for submissions is 23/07/2014. Good luck!

@ChrisLocke - the blog clearly states to email [email protected] to apply for both roles. This is repeated for each roles application requirements. No need to crack out the pen and ink ;)

How do we email your headquarters? You do not show any email address you seem to expect us to write a letter which is not very environmentally friendly or do you just have contempt for your customers?

Well done BrewDog. Its fantastic to see a great brewery giving such a huge investment back to potential beer aficionados. Just wish I was young enough to apply! Keep up the great work - an Aussie fan.
