As a neat little Christmas present to craft beer drinkers we are excited to announce we have completed deals that will see us open both BrewDog Nottingham and BrewDog Leeds in early 2012.

BrewDog Nottingham will be located in a former factory building in the vibrant Lace Market area as we turn 20 Broad Street into a Mecca for great craft beers.

The old factory building is 100 years old and has some great character and features including awesome old brick walls and great corner windows and a vintage dark wood floor.

And here are our plans for the unit which will open in late February.

BrewDog Leeds will be located near Call Lane and The Corn Exchange. The new bar will be at the corner elevation of White Cloth Hall, Crown Steet in the heart of The Calls, Leeds City Centre.

The period building has retained all its original character and has loads of killer features including exposed brickwork, columns and stunning beams and a mezzanine floor.

BrewDog Leeds will have an glass cellar built underneath the staircase to the open plan mezzanine and will have all the reclaimed materials and library of international craft beers. We expect the bar to be open by late March.

Yes, 5AM Saint on cask is great, as virtually every other Brewdog cask. I just can't get over the gas in keg beers, it kills the taste. I'm not holding my breath for cask in Nottingham, Leeds or elsewhere though as BrewDog seem dead set on an anti-cask, anti-choice mission.

When will we see job listings for the Nottingham establishment

Nottingham! Yes! Nottingham knows it's a cool city without having to shout about it. Good choice.

Excellent to see that Notts has been chosen. Not far from me and the Lace market is a hugely popular area in the city. With 2 universities also, Notts should be a brilliant choice however be careful with the 1-way system round the city as, just like Leeds, it's confusing! Good choice!

I regularly visit the Edinburgh bar and the staff are all amazing and the beer selection is second to none in the city. Last week I visited the Camden bar, staff again were all excellent, new boy (Johnny?) was a top lad. I noticed though that there were a whole host of guest bottled beers which didn't make it to Edinburgh. Is this a sign of things to come? Are Camden going to get preferential treatment when it comes to the rarer beers. Stone escodidian black ipa, port high tide, bunch of hitachino nests. They also had lost dog and ab08 on keg. No sign of these beers in Edinburgh. I appreciate that they are in limited supply but share the wealth! Even just one bottle of each for me would be fine :)
