BrewDog scoop prestigious business award

The Scottish Leadership awards 2011 were to mark the achievements of the outstanding leaders in the Scottish Private and Public Sectors. The event was held in the prestigious surroundings of the National Museum in Edinburgh.

We are adequately excited to announce that James & Martin were awarded Young Business Leader of the Year.  The criteria was to be under 40 (and we are both under 30! Wow) and to have shown ‘outstanding and inspiring leadership’. We are maybe better qualified at the former than later. We have racked up a few business awards in our time including Young Scottish Entrepreneur of the Year 2008, Scottish Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 to name but a few and we are really stoked with the latest accolade.

Bruce, who heads up our bar division, accepted the prize (Martin and James were both travelling) and gave an acceptance speech at the National Museum of Scotland in front of more than 300 guests. He wore a bow-tie and everything!

  • I am a BrewDog beer mat, I am made of cardboard and if you chew into me you will discover what mass-produced beers taste like.
