Brodie's vs. BrewDog

Brodie

Join us at BrewDog Shoreditch at 4pm or BrewDog Camden at 7pm this Saturday the 27th of April to meet James Brodie and taste our first sour collaboration beer, Brodie's vs. BrewDog.

We got together with our our good friends at Brodies at the start of 2013 to start the year a bang. Brodies began brewing in 2008 when James and Lizzie Brodie took over an abandoned brewery in East London. Since then Brodies have established themselves as one of the most exciting breweries in the UK and brewed over than 150 different beers in this time. Brodies are notorious for their Bunny Basher Easter festival where they put on 50 different Brodies beers over one weekend in their London Pub, The King William IV.

We have a history of collaborating with our favourite breweries. This started with breweries such as Stone, Ballast Point, 3-Floyds and Mikkeller and we have continued this tradition with Brodies. This collaboration was the first beer to come out of our reborn Fraserburgh brewery, The Dystopian Puppet Hobby Centre. Of course the only way to re-launch our original brewery after our move to Ellon was to attempt something brand new for BrewDog: a sour beer. It was with this in mind we brewed a Tayberry Berliner Weisse.
broadies2_620_01The result is a 'Brodie's v BrewDog,' a 5.2% sour fruit explosion. We are really excited to have James Brodie launching the beer at 4pm in BrewDog Shoreditch and at 7pm in BrewDog Camden with it going on draft in the rest of our BrewDog bars at 6pm.
