the dogs are back in town..as thin lizzy very nearly said.

hillhead bookclub has just celebrated their first birthday and over the last year, (while serving up gramophone cocktails, art exhibitions, bingo, sewing classes and block rocking parties) have established a bit of a bromance with brew dog and all things craft beer.

so here it is as part of Glasgow's West End Festival:

dog's dinner II/ the sequel/ the return/ the encore/ part deux/ the second coming/ the edible hair of the dog.

last year was a triumph with the beer inspired menu preceeded by a craic infused beer tasting and storytelling session by James.

To book your ticket please email info@hillheadbookclub.com or call 0141 576 1700 ticjkets cost just £18

The boozy alliance between Westend libertines the Hillhead Bookclub and BrewDog continues with a second Dog’s Dinner taking place on the 16th June.

With a shared passion for individuality, creativity and quality the Hillhead chefs have created a menu encompassing the confused collaborative love child that is Bitch Please, the honey heather and guarana infused  dogma  and the Baltic vanilla mistress that is Alice Porter, as well as a selection from the core range. Expect to experience classic styles and tastes with the customary cheeky contemporary twist.

Jonny from the Sales team will be there hosting the evening taking you through each of the beers before you sit down to get stuck into the food.H

  • Would love to be there as the last one was great. But will be doing SRAF and the Brewdog alternative in Edinburgh. Where's the blog on details for the latter?
