I Hardcore Alice Porter

We just put 2 very special beers for sale on our online shop to liven up your January.

Alice Porter is a 6.2% Porter with loads of dark malts, a twist of vanilla and an unusual blend of English (Bramling X) and Japanese (Sorachi Ace) hops. We only brewed a 15HL batch back in November and it ended up only being sold on cask and keg at North Bar and at BrewDog Aberdeen. The response to the beer was phenomenal.

Since people liked it so much, we have decided to brew a few more batches of it. We will be brewing this beer as a limited edition seasonal in January, February & March 2011 and it will be available on bottle, keg and cask. Any beer designed for the Baltic should do a good job of keeping beer drinking scamps warm during this icy cold winter!

I Hardcore You is the return, for a limited time only, of a beer which proved firm favourite with hop heads in 2010. I Hardcore You is a 9.5% Imperial India Pale Ale, an international collaborative effort between 2 of Europe's most rock 'n roll brewers. This beer is a blend of BrewDog’s Hardcore IPA and Mikkeller’s I Beat You (2 of our favourite beers). After the blending, the beer was then dry hopped a further twice. Making I Hardcore You a beer which has been dry hopped four times, or maybe even six times. We kinda lost count.
