Limited Release Beers Coming Soon

Limited Release Beers Coming Soon

This is like a trailer. Not for a movie. But for beers.

Thought you guys may appreciate a little sneak preview of some of our new limited release seasonal beers we are currently working on. They should all make their way onto our online shop and on tap in BrewDog bars over the next few months.

Anarchist Alchemist - March 2012

Anarchist / Alchemist

Fuck the system. Forget what you know. What has been. Bow to no one. History is bereft. Reorder. Disorder. Embrace the unknown. The groundbreaking. The challenging. The ichorous revolution is upon us.

Anarchist / Alchemist

Try until your fingers bleed and your mind is numb.Try harder. Try this. Try that. Try the other. Try what hasn’t been tried. Then try again. Keep trying. Forge the new. The molten elixir awakens.

A 16.5% IPA Evolution. Taking our favourite beer style to the next level, Anarchist Alchemist is a triple dry hopped triple IPA. Did not think triple IPAs existed? Neither did we. So we brewed one.

IPA is Dead 2012 - March

IPA is dead showcases 4 killer hops varieties from 4 corners of the planet. The result is 4 radically different single hop IPAs. Each IPA contains the same malt backbone and is brewed to be 75 IBU and is enthusiastically kettle hopped and massively dry hopped.

To appreciate the true character, flavour, power and aroma of our favourite hops you need them in their purest, undiluted form. Can you say you've ever experienced 100% pure hop awesomeness? IPA is Dead is brewed and bottled to do just that.

The 2012 incarnation will see a mixed 4 pack of 4 single hop IPAs using HBC - a new American prototype hop, Galaxy - a killer Australian Hop, Challenger - a classic British hop and Moteuka - one of our favourite New Zealand hops.

Libertine Porter - February

libertine_porter_495

A dry hopped aggressive porter. A rock n’ roll take on a classic beer style. Decloaked and radically reinvisaged, BrewDog’s Libertine Porter is a 5.9% union of one ancient recipe and an
avalanche of cross continental hop varieties. All resulting in an irreverent, devil may care rollercoaster of a porter. Oh and did we mention it was hoppy?

You should also be on the look out for our flagship beer Punk IPA is 660ml bottles too - perfect for sharing or aspiring alcoholics.

Keep up to date with release dates and availability of these beers on our blog.

Loved the 2011 IPA is Dead, and can't wait for the 2012 range, especially Challenger and Galaxy (as an Aussie myself). Also seriously looking forward to Anarchist Alchemist. Keep up the bombastic brewing lunacy!

When some breweries release doubles and triples, they are not always double or triple the strength of a standard, just stronger. Many Belgian breweries will consider a 12% to be a triple, maybe the malt bill tripped but the efficiency of the brew decreased? Anyhow, anarchist is the strongest triple ipa I'm aware of and if it isn't, who cares?Good effort guys, can't wait to try it, and the other beers look awesome too!
Charlem 22.01.2012 @ 12:20pm
@BenH and othersYes, please ditch the 99p malarky. Either the item costs a quid or not. Not nearly a quid. I don't use the 99p system in my shop - the pricing is rounded up or down to the nearest 5p or 10p as required.Time for Brewdog to follow suit?BTW, the Anarchist / Alchemist looks rather nice.
BenH 21.01.2012 @ 11:07pm
Now that we've cleared up the whole double/triple debate can we please move on to more important issues. Have you guys ever considered rounding up the bottle prices on your on-line shop from 99p to the nearest pound? LOL
arobertson 21.01.2012 @ 8:56pm
BrewDog Bars - many thanks for the answer however I have around 150 miles to travel for one of these (Camden) and around 300 to get to Glasgow. Aberdeen is 425 miles away! Any chance of dropping 24 off at my hoose in Lincolnshire (make sure the wife's oot though), otherwise can we get them bottled ASAP??
Josh 21.01.2012 @ 6:26pm
A British hop in an IPA? Interesting.. Will be buying all of these
BrewDog James 21.01.2012 @ 2:58pm
Those examples are all lower abv than one one. Guess it depends how you define double/triple.For us a triple ipa has triple the ABV of a standard IPA. The ones cited below don't.But hey, it is beer, we are not going to get hung up on how to classify it. we don't really care. Rather we are going to brew things we want to drink and enjoy them!
H.P. LoveCraft 21.01.2012 @ 1:17pm
If you really didn't know there were triple IPAs, as a company claiming to be at the forefront of brewing, you really must have had your many heads up your collective arse.
stephanos 21.01.2012 @ 10:18am

Peter C 20.01.2012 @ 4:10pm
That IPA is dead pack sounds mint.My mate is obsessed with porters at the minute so I can see him being excited about the libertine.
Joseph 20.01.2012 @ 3:02pm
Great news! Can't wait to try these ( whilst wearing my Vader mask). Hope to see them in my local BrewDog bar soon!@mico1314 - really mate?!? If you need nice round numbers, go visit a vending machine.
Adrian 20.01.2012 @ 2:40pm
Great Beers - can't wait!
michael o 20.01.2012 @ 2:23pm
A lot of your online prices end in 99p or 59p or 49p, just like all the big faceless corporations . Brewdog here is an opportunity to rid us of the 99p marketing scam. I for one would be proud of a company whose prices ended in 00p or 50p or 70p .
Cstewart 20.01.2012 @ 1:49pm

If you are desperate enough for a Paradox Jura get down to one of the bars, we are stocking them so James was correct in his statement.

Talking of new beers, James told us that Paradox Jura was going to be available on 15 January and we're still waiting. What's the latest on this beer, James?
Daniel 19.01.2012 @ 9:06pm
I am frothing
mikec 19.01.2012 @ 9:02pm
with the amount of beer I'm getting delivered to work there gonna think I'm an alcoholicall looks epic!want, want, want
leithdave 19.01.2012 @ 8:35pm
Exciting news. Really looking forward to these - great start to the year. Thought a few of the beers last year didn't scale the heights - this looks promising, like Brewdog doing what it does best.
BenH 19.01.2012 @ 5:24pm
@anonymous coward - to be fair, alchemist anarchy is considerably stronger than the beers you've exampled, more in line with triple the strength of a regular ipa. The 'triple' ipas you've mentioned are more like strong doubles. It's debatable what constitutes what..... Alchemist anarchy is certainly the strongest all fermented ipa I've ever heard of, assuming it is all fermented Never thought I'd see the day I stick up for brewdog. The beers sound goodWhat type of yeast is alchemist anarchy fermented with?
james, brewdog 19.01.2012 @ 5:23pm

Graeme A 19.01.2012 @ 5:15pm
Sounds great, but when are the Paradox Jura and Lost Dog going to be available online? Soon, I hope, so that the shop can deal with those before these others are released.
Ed 19.01.2012 @ 5:05pm
Want.
anonymous coward 19.01.2012 @ 4:52pm
I love your beers and your fuck you attitude, but: "Did not think triple IPAs existed? Neither did we."? Really?I mean : - http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/founders-devil-dancer-triple-ipa/34518/ - http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/hoppin-frog-hop-dam-triple-ipa/116865/- http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/raasted-triple-ipa/73238/(and that last one is in fact from Denmark)So while I very much look forward to a stupidly hopped triple IPA from you guys, if you 'didn't think [they] existed' maybe you should try searching the internet. The three I link to above are among greater than 60 listed on rate beer.just saying.
Bracken's Bitches 19.01.2012 @ 4:52pm
Hell Yeah!!! Now that's the way to start the new year. Fantastic. Thank you.
