Meet Mikkel….in Camden

Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, a beer brewed using coffee excreted from a Vietnamese weasel, yeah that was him.

19, an IPA brewed using 19 different varieties of hop, yep that was him too.

1000 IBU Light, a 4.9% Pale Ale with all the bitterness of the hoppiest of Imperial IPAs, also him….

On Saturday 18th of February BrewDog Camden is lucky enough to be joined by the maverick brewer that is Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, the man behind the world renowned brewery, Mikkeller. This is a brewery that has been pushing the boundaries of beer and playing with people’s perceptions since its inception in 2006. Now is your chance to meet the man and drink the beer.

  • Holy smokes. That's fantastic. How about making a traditional German Kolsch? In many ways the 'easiest' beer for the world to drink. But in the hands of BrewDog and Mikkeller I am sure there could be some hidden magic.

By the way, the folks from Mikkeller were here in Dallas last November for Dallas Beer Week. At a beer dinner event I had the 'I Hardcore You' T Shirt and it was signed by them and everybody else at the event. I'll send you a picture. Fantasic.

P.S. Maybe BrewDog could attend the next Dallas/Houston Beer Week in November....
