Say hi to Team BrewDog Clapham Junction

Say hi to Team BrewDog Clapham Junction

In August this year, we swung open the doors to our newest UK BrewDog bar down in Clapham Junction, and it's been killing it! The bar takes a wee step away from our other bars in terms of design in order to suit the local area, but retains all the classic quirks you'd expect from one of our humble hoppy abodes.

We stopped by to see how it's been going and what the bar team are tripping over themselves to sample! Over to manager James Knox!

"We've been crazy busy from day one and the locals have fast become regulars which is great to see as well. We're having a blast converting South Londoners to craft beer!

We're in a great little area amongst other cool venues like The Breakfast Club, Dip & Flip, Northcote Records, Franco Manca, Byron Burger and Powder Keg Diplomacy so we feel right at home. We've met loads of folks from the surrounding area who haven't ventured too far into craft beer yet but are really open to trying new beers, and they're loving it!"

A bunch of our ever-thirsty shareholders were down for the pre-launch event back in August, but the food menu wasn't quite ready when they stopped by…but it's right up there with the best of 'em now!

"We have some of the finest cheese and charcuturie (cured meats and sausages) you can find in London! There is absolutely no better food pairing for beer. Period. Think Hardcore IPA with some 'next-level-barn-yardy' St James cheese! We also do some epic toasties with these tasty morsels and stock London's finest scotch eggs and sausage rolls from Pig'n'Hay. So we've got all the ideal grub to match with your delicious beer. Can't go wrong."

In addition to insanely tasty charcuterie, toasties and many many many many scrummy beers to sample, BrewDog Clapham Junction is fronted by a wee outdoor area, ideal for people-watching if you are so inclined, and there's a ton of board games and beery books indoors to settle down with when it gets chilly.

What are the bar staffs' top picks then?

I popped in (from Nottingham) for a quick beer last month.I was all set for (another) Jackhammer, my favourite, but the bar-person suggested the Redchurch IPA, which was superb ! Now the food menu is ready, I need to call in again ....
