Quality Control & Assurance Manager

Job Description

Head up our new brewery laboratory to ensure that the beers we package and ship exceed quality control standards and expectations every time. Role involves the monitoring of beer quality throughout the brewing process, regular taste testing and managing of our extensive beer library.  You will work closely with our head brewer and production manager to ensure all aspects of the brewing process meet appropriate standards and implement new systems for monitoring and controlling these variables as needed. An appetite and discerning palette for great craft beer is essential.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in either Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field.
•  2 years experience or training in an appropriate industry.
• Knowledge of brewing process from a QC perspective.
• Knowledge of beer sensory evaluation is a plus.

• This is a full-time salary paid position located at our new brewery in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
