BrewDog Loves Art!

Project description: BrewDog loves Art.

We’ve supplied beer for Banksy’s opening nights, the Tate Modern’s 10th Birthday Party and a whole host of Degree Shows and Exhibitions.

We love working with talented, enthusiastic people like ourselves on projects such as Heather Brennan’s ZeitGeist Sheeples, Johanna Basford’s hand printed Paradox labels and a handful of pretty cool young photographers. We are passionate about working with new and emerging creatives, using BrewDog as platform to raise their profile and kick start their careers.

BrewDog and sister company PunkDog will be sponsoring the ‘Musa presents Central Station’ opening night in Aberdeen on Monday 12th July, delivering a couple of hundred bottles of beer to kick start the party. To mark the occasion, we’re offering you the opportunity to design a custom beer label for the event.

Alongside obvious bragging rights at the party and an open invitation to you and your buddies, we’ll feature the winning designs on the BrewDog blog alongside some of your portfolio work, links to your own website / Central Station profile and send you a crate of beer with your winning labels. Perhaps most importantly, we see this as a talent scouting opportunity and would like to speak to the winning designers about potential future commissions and projects.

Heather Brennan
is a brilliant example of how we work with new designers. We commissioned Heather on the back of her winning an open brief competition and her work is now exported all over the world, in bars up and down the country and even stocked in Tesco. Not bad huh?

Submission instructions
There are no rules on what to submit. This is your opportunity; all we provide is the blank canvas. Illustrations, typography, photography, painting, full colour, black and white, neon… we don’t care, just make it look amazing.

Label size is 18cm x 8.7cm .

Email your submissions as low res jpegs, along with your Central Station member name, to [email protected]
Please remember to save your high res artwork as we’ll need this if your designs are selected for print.

Don’t bother sending us an artist’s statement or any post rationalism blurb; to be honest, we don’t read them. We just like looking at your pictures.
