There are times when you reach for that bottle or can, or get handed a foaming glass at the bar, and wonder what it would be like to be involved in the beermaking process. Or maybe you are a homebrewer wondering what it would be like to scale up or create something to be sold to other lovers of craft beer. Well, every year we invite our Equity Punks to push the boundaries of beer and let them make the choices about what we brew - our annual Equity Punk Beatnik Brewday!

And while we're at it, we throw a kickass party at the brewery for the brewday.

Our Equity Punks get an invite to our annual Beatnik Brewday, which last year resulted in a 70 IBU blonde export stout, and the ‘Battle Royale’ to decide what this year’s brew will be is taking place right now in our Equity Punk forum. Every BrewDog shareholder gets a chance to have their say and suggest a beer they would like to be brewed. We are a democracy dedicated to our craft.

Shares in BrewDog cost £23.75 each, and the minimum investment is 2 shares for £47.50. Every penny of the investment will be put back into the business we own together in order to grow it for our shareholders. Alongside the investment and the chance to get involved with the Beatnik Brewing Collective there are many perks of becoming a BrewDog Equity Punk:-

We love the fact that we can shorten the distance between ourselves and the people who drink our beer in this way (to zero in this case, as they arrive in Ellon for the brewday and party).
