We love collaborations. We also love pouring special releases from breweries across the world. As we’re sure you guys agree we have decided to put two and two together to come up with something absolutely amazing. The first Thursday of every month is set to become a banner day for beer drinking as we bring you Made for Us. A brand new, cutting-edge beer, exclusively brewed for our UK BrewDog Bars by a craft brewery at the very top of their game. Pouring in every bar at once.

And we kick things off on Thursday April 4th courtesy of our friends at Buxton Brewery.

This starting point in a unique series of small-batch beers has been created by the guys at Buxton and will launch across our network of UK BrewDog Bars at 6pm on the 4th – the Thursday before #PunkAGM2019 (an event Buxton will also be attending). These guys need no introduction, they are true masters of the hopstore. For the first beer in our Made for Us series, they have brewed a 5.0% ABV DDH Pale Ale; juicy and balanced with big citrus and stone-fruit character!

This Buxton one-off special will be pouring on draft from our UK BrewDog Bars throughout the start of April, before giving way to the second in the programme that will arrive in May. Here are the brewers we are working with to keep you going until summer (with more to come following that):-

April 4th: Buxton

May 2nd: Northern Monk

June 6th: Bearded Iris

When we dialled up Nashville to speak with Bearded Iris they didn’t even ask what style it should be; they already knew a recipe you guys would love – so their Made for Us brew is set to be a DDH NE DIPA, at around 8.0% ABV. As Bearded Iris brew the best balanced, juicy double IPAs anywhere at the moment, this one is going to be incredible. As is our beer from Northern Monk which will be a 6.0% ABV Mango & Lactose Sour IPA, conditioned on guava. How good does that sound?

To say we are excited that each of the three breweries above have designed and brewed a one-off small batch beer for us is a massive understatement. It is just one of a number of epic projects we have on the go to make our bars even more amazing, and your visits likewise.

On that note – tomorrow also sees the debut of the second BrewDog Mixtape. Following the residency of Franz Ferdinand we are ready at 6pm on Thursday to debut the next; curated by the incredible The Magic Numbers!
