NINE TO FIVE WIZARD

Tomorrow the scene is set for another very special arrival into our UK BrewDog bars. The unveiling of a new small-batch beer will give the perfect excuse to loosen the desk shackles a little earlier than usual. On Thursday this week we are asking you all to rise up and not be counted. Get the work done, or don’t, and get out of there. (We’ve got you covered).

Our New World India Pale Weizen – Nine to Five Wizard – is in the house.

Twin realms of European brewing have been combined together in this beer by our amazing team of brewers in Ellon. From the traditional heartlands of Europe; German hops, Bavarian Weizen yeast and armfuls of wheat. And turning west to the US craft beer scene; Cascade hops, crystal malt and 60 IBU of mouth-puckering bitterness. The result? Nine to Five Wizard, a 7.5% ABV German-styled wheat beer packing an American punch.

And to launch it, we’d like you to punch out early.

Nine to Five Wizard debuts in our UK Bars at 4:30pm on Thursday August 24th and we want all of those 9-5 desk jockeys out there to leave the office before the siren sounds. If you work for the Man, let him pick up the slack for once – we’ll make it worth your while. Simply hit up one of our UK BrewDog Bars between 4:30pm and 5:30pm on Thursday this week and score a free two-thirds of Nine to Five Wizard as a reward for being your own boss (for the afternoon).

Escape the 9-5 and show us the Out of Office notification on your phone, or capture a sneaky photo of you ducking out before 5pm (if you are supremely confident, a video of your epic bail). If you have the proof, our bar crews have the incentive. After all, you can always regroup on Monday morning – just don’t overthink it too much. Head for your nearest BrewDog Bar for a 4:30 meeting you won’t want to miss.

Nine to Five Wizard majors in the classic German Weissbier aromas of banana and clove, layered with New World hop notes of orange, mango, pine and grapefruit. The combination of the Magnum, Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria and Ariana hops give a rising and refreshing citrus complement to the smooth mouthfeel from the wheat and the fruity esters of the Bavarian yeast. Listen to your inner 9-5 wizard and you’ll do very well indeed.
