#PUNKAGM2018 UPDATE!

With two months to go before our annual shareholder party we figured it was high time for an update on exactly how our 2018 #PunkAGM will rock. We reached capacity for the event two weeks ago – all 7,000 spaces for the event have gone already. You guys rock. So for everyone who reserved their place we have the ultimate beery update – we have dialled in the guest breweries who will be pouring for you at the AECC on Saturday 7th April.

And there are some brewery tasting sessions you won’t want to miss.

Equity Punks – tasting events will available to book for all of these breweries on the forum from this weekend, so keep an eye on those inboxes!

First up, we have finalised the brewery line-up for #PunkAGM2018. We are going to be rocking the latest beers from the incomparable Cloudwater; the pride of Manchester will be in the house pouring alongside fellow visionaries DEYA – two of the breweries of the moment, assembled for our army of shareholders.

We also have home-grown talent from the incomparable Magic Rock who will be at the AECC with their fellow Yorkshire neighbours of Northern Monk. How does that sound? There simply isn’t a quartet of modern British breweries knocking things out of the park on a more regular basis. It’s going to be a fantastic selection of UK brewing talent.

But we have also invited some stellar breweries from across the pond to the AECC. One of the hottest names in the world of barrel-ageing and experimental sours – the Bruery – will be at our AGM and they will be packing several of their Bruery Terreux farmhouse ales too.

We are also psyched to welcome one of the true legends of modern American brewing – Stillwater Artisanal – to #PunkAGM2018. Blending brewing and art, they are not to be missed. Also in that bracket we have the final guest brewer at the AGM, our new neighbours in Columbus Seventh Son. If you have never tried their beers, be prepared for some truly stunning craft beer from Ohio.

Alongside the guest breweries we are bringing a huge range of the freshest BrewDog beer to the AGM and will be rocking both a dedicated LoneWolf bar AND an OverWorks Bar. Yes, the first set of mixed fermentation brews from Richard Kilcullen and his team will be ready to go and pouring for our assembled army of Equity Punks.

So how does that sound? Stand by for a further update on the music you can soundtrack your day to, and news about food and other cool goings on during the day. But in the meantime, how does that brewery line-up grab you? Let us know in the comments below!

Great line up. Some interesting beers for sure. With so much on offer would it be possible and practical to do smaller pours. Even sticking to thirds you could end up drinking a lot of beer and still miss out on a load.
Also can we have Elevator from Columbus next year please. Great beer and really nice people brewing it.

Solid line up. Great British representation, first time with no Scandinavian inclusion, maybe? Looking forward to The Bruery especially, some of their sours, barley wines are really good, Deya and Northern Monk also highlights. Hopefully CW bring some of the good stuff, been very inconsistent of late. Shame Cycle aren’t returning. ??

Sounds great, would love an appearance from Beavertown though! 2019 maybe?

Awesome line up of breweries. I had to go for the American breweries as I’d never tried any their beers. So looking forward to this year so much

Immense !
Cloudwater, Deya, Magic Rock and Northern Monk. I think that could only be improved with a curve ball like Amundsen.
Is Lewis coming up from Magic Rock ?
Maxwell 09.02.2018 @ 12:40pm
That could be the best lineup yet

Excited for Deya and Nothern Monk. And Cloudwater obviously
