Free Beer Schools
We rock Beer Schools in our bars, where people can taste a quartet of beers and learn about brewing from one of our Cicerone-trained crewmembers. From January, we are making these Beer Schools free for everyone. You will be able to sign up online and book spots from mid-December!
Equity Punk Franchise Bars
Our shareholders often source new brewery locations for us, but we are soon to offer Equity Punks the chance to set up and run their own craft beer outpost in the form of a BrewDog Bar franchise. For more details (and info on an open day about the programme), check this link!
Within the next four weeks we are renewing our focus on guest beer by dedicating two new guest lines in all of our bars to beer from craft breweries local to them. With focus on our own beer, we have maybe squeezed our guest beers recently – but this will change within a month or so!
The toughest thing to keep on top of for small businesses is cash flow. We know this all too well. So to support these amazing guest breweries we are cutting our payment terms to them to seven days whenever we buy beer direct from them. This will happen with immediate effect.
Why would we not want more beer festivals? With Collabfest arriving next week in 2019 we will also put on a few more, including a bar-wide festival involving barrel-aged beers, and a second featuring beers exclusively brewed for BrewDog.
With more than 70 bars (and one hotel) on Planet BrewDog, our unbelievable team of bar staff work day and night to get amazing beer into the hands of as many people as possible. We love them for it, and look forward to our network of bars becoming even more central to our business next year.
