THE GREAT BREWDOG BAR HUNT 2019

THE GREAT BREWDOG BAR HUNT 2019

Springtime is nearly here so there’s only one way to celebrate – by picking up the Atlas for another running of our annual Great BrewDog Bar Hunt! Yes, everyone’s favourite pavement-pounding quest returns for 2019 as we look to bring BrewDog to [Your Town].

From today we are deputising you guys to help us uncover hidden gems we can convert into new BrewDog Bars or OutPost Brewpubs. We try our best, but even we can’t be everywhere at once – and as you guys know your backyards better than we ever could we are calling in the cavalry. So get ready to send in those epic off-radar locations!

For 2019 if you suggest somewhere we eventually open up in, we’ll sort you a finder’s fee of £5,000 for a Bar or £10,000 for an OutPost.

Our hit-list of cities in the UK and Europe is ready to go below – but we are open to any incredible sites that our team of Barhounds think worthy of investigation. New for this year we have a dedicated typeform for you to complete with all the details – so when you find somewhere that fits the criteria below.

If we follow up on your suggestion one of our crew will be in touch, and if we sign a deal, the finders’ fee is yours (along with the eternal gratitude of your fellow citizens). So when burning through the shoe leather what exactly should you be looking for?

·       Bar Sites - 2,000 – 6,000 square feet in size (185 – 560 square metres)

·       Outpost Sites – 6,000 – 10,000 square feet in size (560 – 930 square metres)

·       Majority of space will be on the Ground Floor

·       High visibility location with lots of passing foot traffic

·       Outside space is essential (summer is on the way)

We love bars – but we very much love brewpubs – the larger size means that prospective BrewDog OutPosts are more challenging to discover, but having freshly-brewed BrewDog craft beer on site makes the searching all the more worthwhile. So, with all of that written in your notebook, where exactly should you get searching? Well, we are after locations anywhere that you think we would fit in but we are paying particular attention to the following UK and Europe locations:-

·        UK – Belfast, Chester, Bath, Exeter, Chelmsford

·        France – Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse

·        Germany – Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Essen

·        The Netherlands – Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht

·        Iberia – Madrid, Barcelona, Seville

Anything you uncover, in those areas or further afield, we’ll follow up on if they look promising.

You can submit your entries into the 2019 Great BrewDog Bar Hunt until the 30th of September - so be sure and do your local exploration before then to earn that finder’s fee of £5,000 or £10,000 and something that is just as amazing – the prefix ‘BrewDog…’ placed before the name of your city.

Happy hunting!
