Cheering on our Punk-fuelled table tennis supremo
This weekend is a big one for friend of BrewDog and wizard of the table tennis table, Gavin Rumgay. After he wowed us with his heroics at last year's World Championships of Ping Pong (going on a run which lasted all the way to the quarter finals), we joined forces with the wizard from Perth and helped Gavin step up his training and preparation for this year's competition.
And his quest for table tennis triumph starts tomorrow.
Hopefully his tournament will conclude on Sunday with him lifting the trophy - you can check out all details of the competition (being staged at London's Alexandra Palace) on the World Championships of Ping Pong official website.
We spent a day with Gavin during his preparation to witness the hard work that goes in to his training schedule. Check out the video for exactly what it takes to rise to the top of the Ping Pong world - and any of our Equity Punks out there who duelled with Gavin at last year's AGM, we're hoping you'll be watching his progress with a Punk IPA in hand and memories of taking on the man himself at the AECC.
