100 years ago, the Japanese travelled to Scotland and persuaded our master distillers to reveal everything there is to know about making whisky. Then went away and created their own, excellent, version of Scotland's national drink. So in the spirit of cultural exchange, we're laying claim to Japan's most popular drink.
From the Far East (of Scotland) comes Inugami Shochu. It's a light, delicate spirit - just like they drink in the izakayas of Tokyo - but crafted with a little twist of revenge. Galangal Root, Ginger and Scottish Rhubarb give Inugami a crisp bite like no other.
Serve in a highball with ice, topped with sparkling water and a fresh slice of ginger.
