Overworks X BFM - Cloud Cuckoo
Alc Vol. 8.0%
PETIT OUD BRUIN
Cloud Cuckoo is a collaboration beer with BFM from Switzerland.
This beer is the product of over a year’s worth of work, and the perfect representation of both breweries. A blend of sour ale
from BFM and a blend of sour ale from OverWorks. Defined by the darker malts and time spent in oak, this beer is a nutty, biscuty
malt-forward twist on the Oud Bruin style. Expect plenty of vineous and woody notes with a splicing sour that chops through
the sweet malts.

Beer styles are the categorisation of beer into easily distinguishable types. When doing this we look at history, colour, carbonation, bitterness, ingredients, mouthfeel… the list goes on
Brown, Munich, Oats, Pale, Pilsner, Rye, Wheat
We'd typically use a lightly kilned Base Malt in a beer recipe, then add Speciality malts (sometimes darker, more complex, different flavours) in small quantities to change the overall taste and colour of the beer.
Hops are used in loads of ways, and they can give different characteristics to beer such as Aroma and Bitterness– this is why they rock!
