nanodog
Small-batch, experiential brews from BrewDog's nanobrewery
At BrewDog, the spirit of homebrew is in our DNA. It was how we started, as a company, and it still fires our imagination to this day.
One of the many things we love about homebrewing is it gives anyone the chance to create incredible beers on the smallest of scales. When you have skill and a passion for it, size doesn’t matter. Enter: nanodog.
WTF is a nanodog?
Buckle up. It's time for a history lesson.
Let’s go back to 2019 where it all started. nanodog was the brainchild of Nick Manos. At the time, he was a member of the DogTap Columbus crew and ran the resident homebrew club.
He approached us with a desire to replicate BrewDog’s spirit in miniature with a series of small-batch beers poured at monthly events. Nick duly brewed up a cryo-hopped NEIPA and a double chocolate milk stout with strawberry, vanilla, banana and toasted walnuts.
Both beers sold out in 90 minutes.

Nick is now head of nanodog, the nanobrewery is operating on the smallest kit within BrewDog's brewery, located right outside of Columbus, Ohio.
He's known for his super-exclusive, high-intensity small-batch brews and experimenting with new techniques and straight up bizarre ingredients (Apparently we're putting phyllo dough in beer now? And, guess what? It's damn good.)
You can always spot a nanodog creation on tap at BrewDog bars nationwide or on the online shop.
