#Mashtag - the world's first ever twitter beer!
This is beer by the people, for the people!
We have always been inspired by the passion, knowledge and enthusiasm of craft beer drinkers. We have decided that democratic beer is the future and we are giving up the important brewing decisions to our fans, customers and anyone who wants to learn more about the craft brewing process and cast their vote.
In a ground-breaking move, BrewDog will be the world's first brewery to ever brew a completely democratically designed craft beer - beer by the people, for the people! We are giving up complete control of every single decision which will shape the final beer that #Mashtag produces.
If you’ve ever wanted to see us brew a raisin infused 15% porter or a Double IPA aged in rum casks this is your chance to guide our brewers down any crazy, zany path you can imagine. The possibilities are endless. 
Here is how it will work......
Every day throughout the week commencing Monday 25th March, we will post a blog at 12 noon offering you 3 options for various elements of the brew. You cast your votes on twitter, on facebook or on our blog.
Monday - Beer Style
Tuesday - Malt Bill & ABV
Wednesday - Hops & IBU
Thursday - Special Twist (barrel aged? Dry hopped? Belgian yeast? Addition of a pasturised mouse?)
Friday - Name
Along the way we will be explaining the different parts of the brewing process, the importance of the different ingredients and outlining how the different decisions you make will effect the final beer.
Each day you simply tweet us @BrewDog stating what option you want to go for, including the hashtag #MashTag, respond to our Facebook post or leave a comment on the blog. Simcoe will count the votes on his abacus and announce them every morning when we give you the next round of options.
Then we’ll announce the winning beer recipe and get cracking with the brew!
