BREWDOG BUDAPEST IS HERE
Capital cities should be exciting, unique and a reflection of the people who live and work in that country – and when it comes to the great cities of Europe, few can rival Budapest. The Hungarian capital is an amazing city, split down the middle by the Danube and divided into districts each with their own personalities. And now, at the western tip of the eclectic Erzsébetváros (District VII), we have found our latest home.
BrewDog Budapest is now open!
Located at Anker Köz 1-3., Budapest 1061 we have uncovered an unbeatable location on the Pest side of the river, just ten minutes’ walk from the iconic Chain Bridge and around double that from the Gothic Parliament Building. At the tip of the point where Király Utca meets Bajcsy–Zsilinszky út, the bar is on a pedestrianised side-street over the road from Deák Ferenc tér Metro station and within easy reach from anywhere in the city.
Inside you’ll find 25 taps of craft beer from ourselves, breweries we know and love from around the world and some incredible local brews from the Budapest area and across Hungary. Crewed by GM Virag and an amazing team of hop-loving heroes, breweries such as Mad Scientist and FIRST will be well represented – and you can pick up canned and bottles beer to takeaway too, or drink inside if you’d rather hang around for a while.
The building on the curving Anker Köz used to be a banking hall, and speaking of waiting a while if you’re hungry you can also enjoy a range of food from the legendary BrewDog burger and wings menu. Plus we will also be serving up freshly-brewed coffee sourced from a local artisan roastery in the city. Any of the burger or wings options can be paired with a beer – just ask one of the friendly bar crew for their recommendations!
BrewDog Budapest is open now and will throw back the doors each day at 10:30-01:00 Mon-Tue, 10:30-02:00 Wed-Thu, 10:30-04:00 Fri-Sat and 10:30-01:00 Sun. You can follow the bar on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!
Budapest is a city like no other and we are psyched to be able to finally open a BrewDog Bar there in what is an incredible beer (and bar) scene. If there’s anywhere else we should open up in the centre of Europe, let us know in the comments below!
