MALMÖ, WARSAW – GET READY!

MALMÖ, WARSAW – GET READY!

As was announced at our rocking #PunkAGM2016 earlier this month, we have a host of brand new BrewDog bars in the pipeline. Working hard towards each epic door-opening moment, sometimes the beery fates align and more than one is ready to break cover in a given week. And that is exactly what is about to happen for the people of two of Europe’s most fascinating cities.

Next week, we are connecting the people of Sweden and Poland as never before.

They may be a thousand kilometres apart, but Malmö and Warsaw are about to be joined as new twin cities of craft beer – as each is set to receive an epic BrewDog bar! One is set for the country that has taken us to heart like few others, and is primed to be the fourth BrewDog bar within its beer-friendly border. The other marks our first foray into the heartlands of Eastern Europe, as we arrive in one of the continent’s resurgent beer scenes.

And Equity Punks, we have exclusive preview nights for you at both! (helicopter not supplied)

Public Opening – Wednesday 4th May

We can’t wait to add another amazing bar to our Swedish roster; and following hot on the heels of BrewDogs Kungsholmen, Göteborg and Södermalm we are now ready to open in the gateway city that links all others - Malmö. Our bar in the country’s third-largest city is in a perfect location at Baltzarsgatan 25, 211 36 Malmö, on the corner of Djäknegatan – ten minutes from Central Station!

With 20 taps of craft beer and an outdoor drinking area in which to extend the legendary Swedish vibe, BrewDog Malmö is in place to dispense incredible offerings from ourselves and leading breweries from Scandinavia and beyond. It also has a full kitchen, majoring on incredible hot dogs from local suppliers including the multi award-winning Per i Viken!

BrewDog Warszawa

Public Opening – Thursday 5th May

The day after, we have another incredible bar opening in one of Europe’s most historic cities. Sitting on the banks of the Vistula, Warsaw is diverse, fascinating and already has a great reputation for beer – one that we can’t wait to become a part of! Next week we will be ready to take on Warsaw’s growing thirst with 18 taps of craft beer and a wide range of spirits, speciality coffee and kick-ass food!

It took us a while to find a perfect site, but we struck gold with a former restaurant plumb in the centre of this expansive city. Situated at ul. Widok 8, 00-023, BrewDog Warszawa is a short walk from the landmark Palace of Culture and Science, northeast from the Roman Dmowski roundabout. As the tenth country to receive a BrewDog bar – we are pulling out all of the stops for Poland!

We can’t wait to open these two fantastic new BrewDog bars in two of Europe’s rising beer destinations. Stand by next week for a more detailed look at each, as we journey from the Swedish gateway to the heart of Poland. See you next week!

I work for Cambridge school of English at 8 Widok St, slap bang next to your new Warsaw boozer. I'm not (yet) into craft beer though - I prefer traditional real ale. Gimme Fullers ESB, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Wadworth 6X. But I want to check you guys out . Punk IPA sounds good - I love The Pisols, The Clash and The Ramones and unfiltered, unpasteurized beer so bring it on. Show me that craft beer is as worthy as trad real ale. BTW check out Bierehalle in Warsaw. Cracking ale from a micro-brewery in old Warszawa.
