Our state within a state has already taken to the streets of Manchester and Bristol, staging an urban takeover for independence and continuing our quest to bring the craft beer revolution to the people. Punk State raises barricades in order to bring down barriers – and this coming weekend we are doing so in England’s second city.

Punk State Birmingham hits St Martins Square Friday 27th & Saturday 28th July.

From 1pm on Friday and Saturday you can rock up to our city-centre roadblock yards from the Bullring and we will hand over a freshly-brewed can of Punk IPA. All you need to do is cross the border into the Punk State and pledge allegiance to our ongoing battle against bland and mediocre beer brewed by industrial corporations.

At the same time, if you are in Birmingham but cannot make it to us, then we can make it to you. Just send a tweet to @BrewDog using the hashtag #PunkState and our Punk Drop crew will deliver to you a fresh four-pack of our flagship India Pale Ale if you convince us why you need it. Then all you need to do is keep an eye out for one of our BrewDog vans with your cold beer!

Come Sunday, the Punk State will take down the barricades and return Birmingham to normality – albeit a new normal where craft beer has broken through even more. Our crew of evangelists will then travel north to Merseyside and set up for the fourth and final Punk State – Liverpool. If you can be in Williamson Square on Saturday 4th or Sunday 5th August then we invite you to head down and be a part of the revolution.

As we head around the country we are striking out for independence and striking a blow against the mass-produced. If you are with us, Birmingham, then come down to the Punk State and stake your claim to a world where there is a choice. A choice of quality and flavour over everything else.
