Here at BrewDog, we are firm believers that there’s a drink for every season – and when that season is the hot one that forms the midpoint of the year those options are even greater. But we also know that when the heat hits, not everybody digs a Double IPA or German-style Helles. That’s cool – our mantra ‘Craft Beer for the People’ means that we are always thinking of new ways to get those people what they want. So from today, our network of BrewDog Bars are launching a range of summer specials.

And if you’ve never had a beer slushie before – you don’t know what you’ve been missing.

Beer Slushies

Mesmerised by those slowly-rotating coloured ice machines when you were a kid? We have some huge news for you. They are back. Only better. Available from today in every UK BrewDog Bar we have the world-beating beery equivalent. A trio of different slushies freshly frozen and featuring the perfect balance of sweet and sour; each served atop a measure of the beer that features in the topping. Check out your new infatuation below:-

Cosmic Slush – BrewDog OverWorks Tropical sour, Square Root Citrus Soda, Sugar

Kola Berry Blast – BrewDog OverWorks Berry sour, Fritz Cola, Sugar

Frosty Hawkes Cider – Nothing but Hawkes Cider, chilled and slushed to perfection

Punk Ginger Beer

Our original summer cooler is something we have been rocking for a number of years; a made-to-order cocktail featuring our headlining Punk IPA like you’ve never had it before. The citrus and tropical backbone of our flagship are the perfect complement to the heat and spice of ginger, so we have worked up a Punk Ginger Beer that contains a blend of Punk IPA, fresh root ginger, ginger beer, lemon and lime juice. A summertime winner!

Iced Coffee

Long, hot days are not best punctuated with a steaming cup of joe – so when the sun shines and a break is called for we are ready in every espresso-serving BrewDog Bar with an epic iced version. The same BrewDog blend coffee, hand-roasted in our bespoke roastery attached to our Ellon brewhouse, only served poured over ice. Either black or white, as is your choice, either way this is the ideal iced coffee to perk you up.

Soda Floats

Finally, we proudly serve Fritz Sodas in our bars as we love the range and depth of flavour these German sodas have – so making them into a float is the obvious way to add another summer special to our menu. And they couldn’t be simpler. Just pick any bottle of our Fritz Sodas and we will pour and top with vanilla ice-cream for the ultimate float. As easy as that.  Because everything is better with ice-cream.

This quartet of summer coolers are live now across our UK BrewDog Bars, and ready when you need them most. As the heat rises (which it may well do, given the on/off nature of our weather) then head to your local BrewDog Bar for the perfect way to take the edge off.
