PUNK HIGHLIGHTS
A short history of Europe’s favourite craft beer.
2008: OUR BIG BREAK
We win 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Tesco’s home brewing competition (sorry to anyone else who took part that year). Punk hits shelves across the land.
2010: RAISING THE BAR
BrewDog bars open their doors. Aberdeen is first, closely followed by Edinburgh and Glasgow. And then we set our sights South.
2016: NUMBER ONE
Punk officially becomes the UK’s best selling craft beer. The people of Britain officially have great taste.
2016: GOING STATESIDE
We become the first UK craft brewers to open a brewery in America. We set up shop in our new home from home, Columbus, Ohio. The weather is much better than Scotland.
2019: MORE PUNKS
The Punk family is growing. Punk AF arrives with a 0.5% alcohol free IPA, and Double Punk goes the other way with an 8.2% hoppy and bitter West Coast IPA. All bases covered.
2022: GOODBYE GLUTEN
We brew a gluten free Punk IPA for the first time, making great craft beer available for even more people. And we make Easy Punk, a lower alcohol brew with only 95 calories.
2025: KEEPING THINGS FRESH
Fresh looking Punk for a fresh new era of BrewDog. We refocus our efforts on beer quality and innovation, and Punk IPA is at the epicentre of our plans. Even better Punk incoming.
